Head Coach's Message

Congrats to everyone who competed at the Sacramento Masters Sprint Pentathlon meet last weekend! We had a small but mighty group who braved the cold wind to get some racing done. An extra congrats goes to our three swimmers who were extra brave and competed in all 5 events - Jennifer Phalen, Joanna Griffiths and Helene Nehrebecki. Well done!

If you’re looking for something more local, stay tuned. There will be more opportunities in the coming months. If you have questions about competitions, feel free to reach out to me.

Parking Lot Work at Civic

On Sunday April 2nd the city will be doing work to the parking lot area. The work is scheduled to be done between 7 and 11 am. During that time, part of the parking lot will be blocked off. Hopefully most of the work will be completed by the time lap swim starts however, there is a possibility you will need to park in a different area in the lot and walk.

Its the time of the year that many schools and organizations are holding fundraisers. Please consider offering a DAM membership as an auction item! DAM can offer a one-month membership to schools and 501(c)3 organizations - contact us!

Grand Prix

1 point: sign up for the Go the Distance competition by USMS. Log your yardage and other activities daily, weekly, whenever.
1 Point Per Day: Pac Masters Short Course Yards Championships, April 14-16, Morgan Hill
2 Points Per Day: USMS Short Course Nationals, April 27-30, Irvine.

**Email Leslie Westergaard if/when you complete the March 30/30 to earn your 5 points!. Next 30/30 is the month of September.
